Community Works Crime Prevention

The Program teaches crime prevention strategies and tips to youth ages 7-25 using lessons we developed from The National Crime Prevention Council’s curriculum best practices. Each training session has an average of 75 youth and young adults attending, and we operate a minimum of two (2) sessions per year. The youth learn about the different types of crimes, the consequences of crime, conflict management strategies, how crime affects communities, and what community prevention programs and services are available to them.
